Formulating queries

How to formulate queries in this search system depends largely on the nature of your question. You may be looking for a publication of which you already know some or perhaps all data. Or you may be looking for publications on a certain subject.

1 When you commence your search, first select suitable indexes.
2 Then enter your search term(s). Several search terms may be entered and combined with one another. A tool for searching more efficiently are wildcards.

More specific help is available for searching by subject, searching by author, searching by tile and using search history More information on how to use the indexes can be found on the pages describing these indexes.
