Searching by author
Searching by author can be done in
various ways. Which way is best depends partly on the completeness of
your data. Wildcards
may be used.
The search method <Index search>
is recommended for performing author search as described in the following table. This method is more
practical than the other ones. Tip.
If
only the family name is known and one or more words from the
title, then a search result can be achieved quickly via search methods <Search> and <Advanced search>.
Select index "All words" and type family
name followed by a word from the title. |

entering an author's name with first initial or full first name
you can only use a wildcard after the first initial or (part of)
the first forename.
Note.
If your result is a very long list, use options for restricting
results provided under <Advanced search>. You may
then restrict by entering a second author, a title word, year of
publication, language, or a type of publication. |
