Using Search history

During a search session you will probably carry out several searches, leading to as many search results. Click the menu button  Search history  for earlier searches (sets).

  • Here you will find a list of searches already executed. Your search statement (query), which index you selected, the list type (records list; list of alternative terms; list of index terms), the restrictions you applied and the number of records you found are presented.

  • You can re-run searches by clicking the Back button.

  • You can delete less relevant searches by clicking the Delete button.

  • You can combine sets by using boolean operators ' AND ' and ' OR '. To do this, mark sets and click button Combine selected sets with ' AND '  or  Combine selected sets with ' OR ' .

Tip.

Combining sets may be especially useful for subject searching, as it allows a more structured approach. You may create sets using one search term at the time and complete your search by selecting and combining sets.

Note.

The sets created will be available as long as you continue a session. When closing a session the sets will not be saved, not even when you were logged in.
